The currant facility consists of four buildings that provide sleeping areas for sixteen chimpanzees and one orangutan. Next to these buildings are eleven outdoor play areas, and also one acre that is fenced and enhanced with a large climbing structure. This supervised area allows for natural behaviors such as tool using, tree climbing and foraging. All the chimps are currently on a controlled breeding program. If a birth should occur, all mothers are encouraged to nurture their offspring and promote group socialization. The average chimpanzee's life span is 50 years, reaching maturity at about twelve years. All the chimpanzees are cared for their entire life span.

NOW IS THE TIME TO MOVE THEM TO A LARGER FACILITY !
